「The hotel is very clean with comfortable beds. The food is great. The staff were very friendly. With me being a travel agent I would have given this hotel 10 out of10 but the walls are very thin that you can hear the people talking in the other room. I didn’t get a good night sleep because I heard the traffic all night on the highway. The hotel is right off the highway. The traffic is very heavy and noisy in the mornings. If you are a light sleeper this hotel is not for you. 」

「Spent two nights. Very clean room and comfortable bed. Great water pressure in the shower. The breakfast and happy hour buffets were substantial and tasty. The hotel manager came around to ask guests how their stay was going. Didn't use the pool but it looked well-maintained. Ticked all my boxes. Highly recommend.」

「This was the dirtiest hotel we’ve ever stayed in. We asked to switch rooms because I found hair, debris and a mini flashlight in the bed upon arrival. When we switched rooms we were moved to a room with huge black stains on the carpet, food in the fridge and a delightful smell of smoke and urine. The elevator was broken so we took the stairs and no one cleaned up the vomit in the stairwell for over 24hrs. We also found pills on the floor, and one in the bed (in the new room). I understand that...

「When going to check in, we had to call and it wasn’t until then that we were notified our room was given away because they overbooked. No one let us know we had to use the online check in during working hours and they apparently closed at 5 which we also were not made aware of. 」

「The property was pretty run down and smelled musty- carpet in room was dirty as was floor in bathroom. The night we checked in there was no hairdryer or coffee maker or hangers. When we called reception we were told they don’t provide any hangers and we would have to wait until the manager comes in in the morning to get a hairdryer. The hairdryer was installed the next day and the following day a new boxed coffee maker was delivered to our room along with 7 hangers after we went and bought some....

「Parking was easy and nearby. The room was mostly clean if not a little shabby…the couch. Flooring in bedroom did not match up to threshold in bathroom. Air conditioning worked but was very loud in the bedroom. Front desk staff was friendly and helpful…when they were there which was infrequent. Best attribute of the hotel was it’s proximity to downtown and especially the Spoonbill restaurant across the street.」

「In April 2026 this hotel is brand new and pristine. Fantastic place to stay. Worth noting that this one is in Scott, not in Lafayette proper. There is another one in Lafayette proper.」
