「Beautiful drive between here and Denali National Park. Lovely views. Mosquitoes not as bad as I had anticipated. Used hiking poles to get up and down steep driveway as my car isn’t 4WD. Got my exercise! Affordable option in this otherwise pricey area—some hotels very close to Denali have Alaska cruise ship passengers, not my crowd, but amazing national park guides and bus drivers. Saw moose, grizzlies, Dall sheep & caribou in Denali. Recommend the fireweed ice cream!」

「My son and i usually go backpacking every year to a new National Park and stay in a tent. My back wouldn't allow that this year but we didn't want a hotel. This place was perfect, and what a step up from a tent. Totally secluded up on a mountain with a killer view. Two mattresses, coffee machine with coffee and he supplied water. Outlets, wifi, stove, and small fridge. We loved it!! I wish there were more of these around other National Parks. You absolutely need a 4WD to get up the...
