"The property was of a basic nature and very tired in places. The bathroom paint was peeling off the walls. The bed was a small queen bed that wasn't big enough for 2 adults to get a good night sleep. The mattress was very thin and uncomfortable. Due to this we left the property early and had to book a hotel. I also tried to contact the property as advised by Sykes cottages, but my calls were unanswered and not returned. Overall a disappointing stay. There are plenty of better rentals available."

"What a great place to stay. Staff were incredible, cheery, polite and very helpful. Room was spacious, had everything we needed including free cookies! Location was perfect, short stroll to train station and short stroll to the main street. Would highly recommend. "
