"From the moment we checked in we were impressed by the Hotel Josefhof the ambience was warm and welcoming as was the check in process. Rooms were comfortable and well proportioned a little warm at times but not uncomfortably so. Nathan in the bar gave us some great tips and assistance to help us plan our stay. The hotel has no restaurant for evening meals but there are loads of choices nearby. The hotel is in a quiet street but within 5 minutes you are in the city centre. Check out was smooth with Anna being very affordable and helpful. Would definitely stay again 😊"

"Perfect place to stay. It's very simple and a bit stark. Rooms devoid of fancy extras, but absolutely spotless and the beds very comfortable, and my room on the street had very soundproofed windows, didn't hear a thing. Despite thinking the curtains were rather meagre, they worked a treat, for someone so sensitive to light at night. Staff utterly lovely. Spar shop downstairs if you need it. And when that's closed, there's a shop with deli counter two minutes away, which also sells cigarettes if you need them when the Trafik shops are closed. Lots of restaurants and bars in the immediate vicinity. And Cafe Sperl a minute away. It's actually very central, only about seven mins walk to the Kunsthistoriches Museum, and another couple to the Hofburg, etc. And the metro station one minute away. A truly marvelous discovery - shall happily stay there again ! "

"Easily 5 star quality hotel. Beautiful rooms and great food in the restaurant. Easy travel all around Vienna with underground stop next door. Rooms were incredibly quiet with soundproofed windows. Staff were fantastic and welcome drink was a nice touch. Thank you!"

The entire property is very clean and located in an excellent area, just a short walk from Mariahilfer Street and with easy access to public transportation in every direction. We were also pleasantly surprised to find a very friendly Hebrew-speaking staff member at the reception, which made the experience even better. We truly enjoyed our stay and would happily return."

The front desk staff was consistently friendly and professional, and my room was spotlessly clean. I especially enjoyed the three restaurants located at the hotel, with The Lemon restaurant being a favorite due to its excellent food and spectacular rooftop view of Vienna. The selection for both breakfast and dinner perfectly suited to my taste. The location of the hotel is truly hard to beat: 5-15 min walk distance to the Opera and Kärntner Str. I would return to Hotel Grand Ferdinand without hesitation and would recommend it to anyone. "
