"Our stay at Ocho barrios was wonderful and we would recommend it 100%. The small, almost family-like hotel, was very nice decorated, with a beautiful patio and garden, which invite for a good rest after intensive sightseeing. "Be aware that this is a museum that has rooms to rent, not a luxury hotel. That said, if you’re looking for a contemplative stay in a beautiful room surrounded by artifacts, this is your hotel. Wonderful staff, good restaurant, coffee house in a garden across the street. Did I mention the incredibly helpful staff? A nice walk 30 minutes to the town center. Can’t wait to return. "

"This hotel was so clean, comfortable and well-run! The breakfast was plentiful and delicious. Really lovely place. My very minor complaint would be the pillows were hard but the beds were perfect and the linens very nice!"
