「We love this place. I cannot say enough good things about their staff. We have stayed here three times now and on our last trip we did have a few issues but the staff went above and beyond to make things right. This will always be our go to place in Long Beach!! Great breakfast and very accommodating for pets.」

「Not walkable but the view and the hot tub make it my fave little hotel. Nice little refresh going on at the moment, but the construction wasn’t disruptive. Sadly the nightly rate has gone up too much for me to justify my annual stay here. Lovely hotel if you’re travelling through regardless. Would recommend, but will not likely return due to cost.」

「When you book do so close to the time needed or they will charge you 3 times the amount. The place seemed to house homeless. Many were mentally ill. No problems but I didn’t feel safe.」

「単身で一泊のみ利用。アストリアに用事があり、近隣の安いホテルがここしかなかったので宿泊。かなりの田舎町で、21:00頃に到着した頃には周りは真っ暗。人の気配も全くない。もちろん、食事等の施設もないので、予め済ませておくか何か用意していくべき。当日このホテルの利用者は自分ともう一人のみ。とにかく閑散としていて、ホラー映画によく出てくる寂れたモーテルのようだった。フロントのスタッフはフレンドリー。部屋は入った瞬間かび臭く、水道の水も赤く濁っていたので、利用した部屋は相当な期間人が泊まっていなかったようだ。それ以外は虫が出ることも、治安が悪いこともなく、至って普通。冷蔵庫や電子レンジ、wifiなど最低限の設備はある。積極的に泊まりに行きたいホテルではないが、特別悪いというわけでもない。」

「Because of the busy season, the room wasn’t ready around 6:00. However, staff were really trying hard. But I wanted to have some rest so it was disappointing. 」

「We love coming to the Lloyd Hotel when we come to Astoria. The staff are the friendliest people you’ll meet. The rooms clean, the breakfast is something you won’t get at any other hotel, and the hospitality is the best. We are return customers for life.」

「The lady at the reception desk was so unfriendly and gave us a dark and damp, no- bathtub room at the ground foor. We immediately requested her to change the room, but she flatly declined our request, saying this room was given according to a contract with Expedia. We couldn't believe such a room was prepared at the rate fixed with Expedia !!」

「Staying at the Shelburne Hotel is like stepping back in time. The staff are warm and friendly, our room was quiet and comfortable. It was fun playing pool in the lobby area. One suggestion: a few hooks to hold towels and hang night clothes in the bathroom would be helpful. There was only one small towel bar crammed with towels. 」
