Yah, the glowing online reviews are pretty accurate. The breakfast at this place surpasses the ones in Vegas easily. Ample seafood including ikura, sake, champagne.. it was bonkers.
We also thoroughly enjoyed the Onsen, especially the outdoor Bossanova lounge. Was surreal to see steam rising from the bathes while you gazed at the stars above in the night sky.
Probably the only con is that the buffet was so awesome there really wasn’t a point to eat at the stellar Hakodate morning market, which is a very first world problem! I’ve already heartily recommended this place to my friends and family.
