Zinc Spur 2 bedroom 2 bath home in desirable mid valley

We are pet friendly, (2dog maximum) $100. for the first dog, $50. additional dog. Fees will be added after booking.

This lovely 2 bedroom/2 bath home is located on over 2.5 acres in the desirable mid-valley. We are a 5 minute drive to Hailey and 10 minutes to Ketchum. The home is comfortably stocked and spacious. With a lovely open floor plan, large kitchen, patio and great access to the outdoors, it is perfect place for an intimate group of family or friends to get together.

What you will love about this property is the comfortable living room which is focused on a cut-rock fireplace and the vast windows which overlook a patio and the creek. Vaulted ceilings impart a feeling of spaciousness unusual in a 2-bedroom home. The well-equipped kitchen has a bar-style table with seating for 6 and the open floor plan ensures that those working in the kitchen stay connected with the action. The master bedroom has an ensuite bath featuring marble and a jetted soaker tub. Both bedrooms have queen beds.

Outside is a wonderland of what the Wood River Valley offers. We are on 2+ acres of land located on a seasonal creek which usually runs April through October (it has sweet little trout - please get a permit before fishing). There are several lawn areas appropriate for badminton, volleyball, a happy game of "toss" or just running around.

Ski Trip

Nice location for a ski trip at Sun Valley. Very comfortable. The driveway entrance is a little tricky with traffic but the host provides very helpful instructions.

Convenient location

Had the main house plus this guest house for BMT race group. The only issue was the guest house kitchen needs to be gone through for dishes, utensils, etc. Also there is no ventilation for the gas cooktop!!!!

Wonderful property

We were visiting for our son’s wedding. We rented both homes for our stay. Both homes are so comfortable & inviting. Our son’s groomsmen & wives were able to stay on the property with our family. Made the time all the more special & memorable. Thomas is an excellent host. He communicated with us quickly on any questions we had. It was a perfect setting - perfect weekend - memories made. Our family will definitely be returning.

Property is nice. Great location, secluded and private. Mostly quiet and peaceful except for the house guests at the property next door, who were super loud and woke us up late at night. The property owner/manager was attentive, and communicated quickly. It could be amazing with just a few updates. Could really use some board games. Master shower is a jacuzzi style tub that was super slippery with no mat. The outside jacuzzi was disappointing; it did not get jacuzzi hot. Oven was unusable it was really dirty! Owner did offer to have someone clean it, but we declined. Overall it was a good experience.

Quiet, Peaceful location

We were happy to find a dog-friendly home in the area. It was quiet and peaceful. Entering the property was just a bit tricky due to the traffic flow. We learned the in's and out's and made it work. Great communication with manager.

Very Beautiful, Private and Quiet

We had a nice time at this beautiful, bright and airy home in Hailey. The beds are comfortable, the kitchen was stocked with any items needed for cooking, and it was convenient to Ketchum and other activities in the area. We also really enjoyed the hot tub/spa. We spent a lot of time e-biking and swinging in hammocks (we brought) enjoying the cool breezes on this beautiful private property. We plan to return to this peaceful setting. Thank You Thomas, our host for being attentive and responsive. 😊

Great Place If You Like Mice!

The home itself is spacious and has a lot to offer but we encountered mice inside the house. One of the kitchen cabinets was full of mice droppings and we saw a mouse trap behind the chair. But once we started actually seeing them in the kitchen, bedroom and front room we were done. I thought I was hearing things the first night but later realized what it was after we came face to face with the nasty rodents. Other than that the house could use some upgrades. The fireplace would not come on, the hot tub was rusty and had leaves and twigs in it. Shower tension rod kept falling down, we couldn't get many of the windows to open and thought the pillows were hard. However the location is nice and convenient and pretty secluded. The tv had nice options and there were plenty of towels. I could live with everything as the price was right but the mice were a deal breaker. We saw one jump into a hole underneath the oven. We covered that hole and then we saw 2 more within 10 minutes. Wish I could post pictures! Contacted the host the next day and have not heard a word.

Winter Retreat

This was our 3rd time staying at this property so we are very familiar with the home. House is showing its age but still a good fit for our needs. . Literally got snowed in one day but host very responsive when contacted about this and other issues.

Perfect family getaway

We had such a wonderful time at this beautiful family getaway. The home is secluded in its own away tucked away from highway 75. We loved the tall ceiling center with a fireplace, amble kitchen space and nice appliances, even better than the pictures in the listing. Our kids love the toys, puzzles and played in the snow. We had a great time snowboarding at Sun Valley, two powder days in a row! The drive to Sun Valley/Dollar mountain was only 15 mins short and Albertsons/Grocery Outlets were only minutes away in Hailey.

Ski getaway

Had a great long weekend stay to do some cross country skiing. The house was perfect and well appointed. Thomas was super responsive to questions and a last minute change we needed to make. Will definitely stay again.

Great property, pet friendly, warm and comfortable

Warm and comfortable property, with location between Hailey and Kitchum giving you great opportunities to visit both towns and ski slops. If you're into cross-country skiing, they have turned an abandoned rail to walking and cross-country ski trail very close to property. Took our dogs for a great walk along the trial.

Cozy Cabin/House Near Sun Valley

We enjoyed our stay at the cabin/house and loved the fireplace and the large bath. We did sit in the hot tub but could not figure out how to turn the temperature up so it was a bit cooler than we would have liked. Everything was read for guests to stay there and the location was great to explore all the nearby towns.

Beautiful property in a great location!

Really enjoyed our stay at this property. It gave us the getaway we needed but within just the right distance to have access to great activities. The property is very well kept, very comfortable, and had the space we needed for our family to enjoy our time there. I did have communication with the property manager which was very prompt and courteous. I highly recommend this property to those interested in this area.

Hailey Hideaway

This is the second time we have stayed here but the first time in the summer. Location works great for us as we share time between family in Hailey and activities north. Love that it is dog friendly and has a nice grassy area. There’s no AC but open windows and a couple fans suffice at night. However several windows were not functioning or missing screens. Overall still a good stay and we will be back again in the winter.
