The staff were very friendly, loved the history of the place.
a few things could do with a bit more love, but staff told us there were plans for a spa etc. So would think about a re visit in a year in the summer.
Staff were very helpful and friendly; mostly locals who could help with knowledge of the area.
Food nicely presented and flavourful; though dinner menu slightly restricted --- not that one wishes to see one that's too long. Wine list also a bit meagre, but those available were good.

Style, location, design of rooms. Staff were very friendly.
Lovely hotel and grounds.
Very tasty breakfast but wasnt expecting a 15% service charge dropped on it, made it over £20, expensive for breakfast.
Room was good value, breakfast not no much.
Lovely hotel in nice quiet grounds. We upgraded to luxury king and recommend- huge bathroom! Very tasty breakfast cooked on order. Outside areas need some Tlc - original greenhouses need repairs & wooded area needs cutting back as couldnt walk through. Great base for drive into Guildford
Another great stay at Barnett Hill. The service and friendliness of everyone working at Barnett Hill was again first class. They made Jane and I and also our dog Mia feel so welcome and they could do enough for you. This is an outstanding hotel, with a wide variety of drinks in the excellent 1905 bar and the a la carte menu also available to us in the bar so Mia could be with us.

Stay was great and room very comfy and clean, however the only downer was that check in wasn't until 3pm and if you wanted to check in earlier its £50 extra. which was a load of nonsense.
I had to get changed for a wedding in the toilet which was less than ideal. Staff were great

Lovely surroundings. Inside looked rather tired - carpets old and dingy, headboard not very clean, bedside light didn’t work and tv had a dreadful signal so had to turn it off. Shower room excellent. Very limited menu in the restaurant but what I ate was good. Staff very friendly.
