「Hotel grounds are beautiful with good trails nearby. Beds are very comfortable, room is nice. Breakfast was OK, but for an upscale hotel, the breakfast should also be more upscale. Staff is very friendly and accommodating.」

Charming rooms with stone walls and wood beams, beautiful linens, a functional --but small, note no stove/oven --kitchen. Located conveniently just a few minutes off the main road in Tryon. (Note, tough to find the first time at night, so don't check in after dark.) Really a delightful place to stay, I hope to be back.」
