"This place is great! Bruce is a wonderful host-very hospitable and knowledgeable about the area. Beth , the breakfast chef, makes the most delicious breakfasts! The grounds are beautiful and well groomed! Sitting on the screen porch at night with a cocktail was very relaxing! Cannot say enough good things about the inn and the people there! "Staying at the Inn at Ellis River was one of the top highlights of my trip and felt like staying with family. The property is extremely well kept and clean, the rooms are comfortable with great facilities and lots to do on property. The breakfast service was always well executed and tasty, and the bacon is to die for! I stayed as a solo hiker and was just as comfortable as the couples visiting, I will absolutely be back next year!"
