Shirley and her staff provided a welcoming and helpful, but not too intrusive presence. Breakfasts were delicious, and the home-baked cookies offered during the day were a special treat! Nice Hotel in the Woods with great location

We stayed in the Babe Ruth room. Kind of cool. Room was very small, we had to steal a chair from the lounge so we could watch TV together. Would not be good for skiers as there is nowhere to hang or dry gear. The heating system is very antiquated. We alternated between hot and cool over the night.

The property is beautiful! The home was immaculate, well preserved yet updated, and lovely! The owners and staff couldn’t have been more helpful and welcoming! The rooms felt like they could tell a story- especially the Babe Ruth room, which we stayed The breakfasts were well balanced and delicious! There was always fresh fruit and gourmet freshly ground coffee. The common areas both inside and out were spacious and still cozy. We were amazed at how many guests were there since we never heard the least sound from our room! We were honored to have made The Cranmore Mountain Lodge part of our journey!
