" Got a very good rate during an event that had filled up many nearby hotels. Lovely sparkling-clean room, rather small, a firm king bed, dresser, & table. It felt cozy, not crowded, enough drawers and closet space, nice-size bathroom with shower-tub. Room has nice ornate details. 10th-floor sunrise view was terrific. Street & park-concert noise was distant. Noisy neighbors in the adjoining room. Staff very friendly, outgoing, helpful. Lovely lobby with high ceilings, ornate decor, lots of seating. Hotel is ornate and lovely, if a little dated. Bar and restaurants in the hotel are fairly expensive. Reasonable breakfast across the side-street, creative bagels two blocks away. Lots more just west in Printers’ Row. Terrific Blues two blocks away. We felt safe walking out after dark. Loved it! We will return!"

"After an 8 hour train ride, finally walking through the doors of the Doubletree was the finest taste of victory! We checked in with Tim and he was absolutely fantastic! Cool guy! Didn’t bat an eye at the two sweaty beasts in front of him! The chocolate chip cookies were great! Everything was so clean and beautiful! I felt like I was staying in the lap of luxury! Thank you for everything! We will sure to be back again."

"We had an amazing experience at this hotel . The view from American falls (4th floor) was great . Everything was great but we do noticed that anyone can go up in the elevators to the rooms floor. They need to have the same system Sheraton in Toronto has ! We can only go up to the rooms if you have the guest card ! That’s a safety measure for all of the guests . Lots of people inside of the lobby and walking around the property so anyone can go up . For this reason we did not feel safe . "
