"Put in a room next to the entrance. People outside the room shouting and laughing until 1am. "

And if you can get it for a good price, On this visit, there was a kettle but no cups or tea coffee making facilities. Beds are hit and miss if you get a comfortable one. The ground floor room near reception are noisy, with people coming and going all night, generally tired place that needs investment. Check in/out quick and straight forward. Staff friendly enough. Good facilities near by."

Building works on my floor so the area smelt of paint, coming down the stairs from floor 2 the paint isn't finished off needs all cutting in. "

"Nice quirky hotel, stylishly done out. Great for a couples night away. The simple check in process and key lock is really cool and makes it simple. Can’t fault the place. Only suggested improvements are 1. Add a coffee machine to rooms. Instant granules don’t match the styling. 2. Couple of bottles of water in fridge would be a nice touch"

"We had a great stay at The School House. The room was very comfortable and Helen was very helpful in providing a delicious breakfast so we could leave promptly to see the Manchester Marathon. There is a pleasant walk nearby (recommended by Helen) and we had a great meal at The Fox - just a short walk away. "
