"This place is a hidden gem. Tucked away in the hillside far away from the hustle of a town however close enough to go to the beaches and local tavernas. They staff are excellent always welcoming, the rooms were clean and we booked a suite with a private pool this was amazing. We loved the privacy and the fantastic view over the hills. I would definitely recommend this place and hope to come back again."

"This is a special, peaceful and relaxing place. Vasily is an attentive host and gave us plenty of great recommendations for places to visit locally. He was proud to share his Cretan history and eco-farming techniques with us. We thoroughly recommend his farm tour. We ate our breakfast and evening meals at Dalabelos, enjoying the home grown and locally sourced food, beautifully prepared by Maria. Just after the mountain top villages while on the way from Heraklion to Malata I saw this amazing view with what I believe is a farmhouse on the edge of a cliff.. Would likely be even better during sunset. (I'm not 100% sure exactly where #ontheroad this view is so placed the marker where I think it was)

"This is an absolute gem of a boutique hotel. Katarina and her so, Kinstantinos, are the very gracious owners of this gorgeous property in the heart of Rethymno. All the ancient and amazing sites are within walking distance, as well as wonderful dining and shopping options. The only downside is the parking situation, challenging in Rethymno, to say the least. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely go back."
