It was clean, the receptionist was kind and helpful. Unfortunately there wasn’t any tea or coffee making facilities which was disappointing as we had a very long day travelling , not sure if we would stay here again

Great, clean property, I like the old school European charm (small bathrooms) ha! The bed was a little firm, but doable. The best parts about this place are the friendly employees and the location can't be beat. It's right in the middle of Heraklion's pedestrian district: shopping, cafes, restaurants, etc. I would stay here again.

Great location and comfortable stay

Location of course is the main attraction and convenience. Clean and comfortable property. While the shower is so tiny you can barely fit in it, it is private shower while many places offer shared bathrooms. For location, amenities and price this is a gem. Special thanks to the breakfast room staff who kept the breakfast room stocked and clean during the breakfast hours and were always friendly and welcoming. I would definitely recommend the property and would stay there again.

Amazing value for money and central location

Amazing value for money. Have stayed before and will stay again. Great central location. Basic room style but has great modern bathroom. Don't be put off by the dated lobby area as rooms are not so old. Our room smelt of stale cigarettes this time but not had that before.

Was amazing people very friendly very good location , very clear room all perfect bathroom very nice a Litle small but for bath very pleasant. Is in the middle of the downtown with restaurant around but the system of their doors you don't eat any outside . I love it and yes I will stay there always when I back to Heraklion

Hotel need upgrade.

The hotel ideally situated in the middle. All the staff were pleasant. Only issue is the pictures provided in Hotel.com are misleading. If you are big built, try to avoid the hotel. The room, bed and specially the shower room is too small. I struggled a lot.

Beware of noise level

Our room was at the back of the hotel right opposite a bar/club. The noise was terrible. VERY loud music until 4:20am. This was a Friday night. We have stayed at this property before, also on the back, but never had music this bad before. If we go again we will request a room on the opposite side. It is a great location and value for money right in centre of town. Also, we did request a smoke free room as this has been an issue on a previous visit but sadly the room this time also smelt badly of cigarettes.

The property isn’t a modern as the photos suggest. The whole place could do with a paint job and a freshen up as it is a tad dated. Overall, the place was ok. There were just a few things it was missing: no bar or safe, as advertised which was partly the reason I booked it as a solo traveller. The bathroom had a weird quirk, where the shower door didn’t close all the way (design flaw), which meant water went all over the floor and toilet bin right next to the shower. Also, because of the weird shape of the shower and close proximity to the vanity, a floor mat can’t be used directly in front of the shower as it will block the door opening. Lastly, chairs being moved back and forth on the mezzanine floors made for a rather annoying sound late at night and early in the morning, but I assume this would only affect the first floor which I was on. Having said all that, I appreciated the reasonable prices, that breakfast was included and the receptionist was very friendly.
