Room smelled and there was a lot of cigarette smoke in the hallway. Lights in the hallway were turned off, so I had to use cell flashlight to find elevator and my room.

The hotel is located in the heart of Old Quarter. It is surrounded by many excellent food options, shopping and attractions. The hotel staff were very friendly and professional as they took time to ensure our stays were comfortable. They have also provided us with many recommendations to attractions and food options.

#Train travel around Southeast Asia is kind of fun and cool, but hopelessly impractical. The only ride I took in #Vietnam 🇻🇳 was between #Hanoi and Ninh Binh. It was cheap, but took about twice as long as the bus would have. If you’re in no special rush, it’s a great experience. Sadly, I am so rarely in no special rush these days.
