「I arrived a few hours early, but my room was available immediately. A lovely room with modern bathroom. I was in the single, which served my needs very well. Well heated. No problem with noise. Very close to train station. Godalming is a beautiful town.」

The pub restaurant was alway fully book a reflection of how good the food is . I gem of a place and will definitely return . 」

The bacon was particularly worth trying - clearly care about the quality of food they are serving. Staff were professional and polite and we would never have guessed they were only open for a week. 「We stayed here in the Tudor 4 poster room. While some of the reviews mentioned noise in some of the suites, we only heard guests downstairs when we were in the bathroom and then only in the afternoon. It was quiet in the evening / night. It was a great place to stay after a 5,000 mile trip from the Western US and recover from jet lag before going on to meet friends and family elsewhere in the UK. (It’s about a hour from Heathrow).
