Hola,Es war ein sehr schöner Urlaub.Wir waren alleine auf dem Anwesen,mit direktem Blick auf's Meer.Der Gastgeber Dimingo ist sehr freundlich, hilfsbereit und entspannt.Er hat bis 22:00 Uhr auf unser Eintreffen gewartet.Ein Mietwagen ist dringend zu empfehlen.Direkt nebenan gibt es ein sehr empfehlenswertes Restaurant (Ribamar).Wir kommen gerne wieder.Der Hund nebenan ist nicht gern alleine ,und macht sich deshalb auch häufiger bemerkbar.

Kanarische Haus mit Meeresrauschen

Mein fast zwei-wöchiger Aufenthalt war sehr schön. Das Bett war bequem. Die Küche hatte alles was ich brauchte. Dank des Schreibtischs sowie des schnellen Internets konnte ich gut arbeiten. Der Außenbereich war ganz wunderbar für die Mittagspause.Wenn die Sonne scheint, wird das Haus angenehm gewärmt. Bei Bedarf steht auch ein Elektroheizer zur Verfügung. Die Straße ist nur bei vorbeifahrenden Motorrädern zu hören. Ansonsten wird sie durch das Meeresrauschen übertönt.Einzig zwei der Klassiker auf den Kanaren trüben etwas den Eindruck. Im Bad riecht es wegen gerade Fallrohre nach Kanal. In der Nachbarschaft bellt abwechselnd häufig und lange einer der zwei in der Nähe wohnenden Hunde.

séjour globalement agréable

Bonne situation au calme près de la mer et de la route principale. Belle vue sur la mer; on entend les vagues depuis le gîte! :) Des attentions agréables de la part du propriétaire: quelques denrées à notre arrivée et surtout des serviettes de plage à notre intention.Le gîte est cependant assez sommaire (peu de vaisselle, pas de lave vaisselle, lits peu confortables, douche sommaire, salpêtre sur certains murs) et infesté par les insectes (mouches dans la salle de bains, fourmis dans la cuisine).Le wifi ne fonctionne pas ou mal dans les autres pièces que le salon.

Traditional Spanish property

The property is perfect for people who prefer a quiet location. It has lovely views of the ocean. Parking is secure behind locked gates. We had bananas delivered to our door which was lovely.Diane the young lady who cleaned was very thorough and was very friendly. This is the third time we have stayed at this property.

wonderful stay in beautiful area

We have stayed in this apartment several times and we love it. The location is great. One can sit in the garden and watch the sea and the impressive cliffs behind the apartment. It is near lovely Garachico and not far from Masca, Puerto, Icod etc. Domingo, the owner, is very friendly and helpful. The apartment itself is very nice and the garden is a perfect place for meals.

Entspannung, Ruhe, Meerblick

Schöner Ort am Meer an der Nordwestküste, fernab vom Trubel der Süd- und Westküste. Ruhig, authentische Restaurants um die Ecke, genauso wie die beschaulichen Orte Garachico und Buenavista. Der Vermieter ist aufmerksam und hilfsbereit. Insgesamt sehr guter Ort zum Entspannen.

Review of Finca just outside Garachico, Tenerife

Firstly, Domingo was an excellent host, very responsive to any question or communication. The cake left for us was a welcome gesture. Sheets and towels were changed every 7 days. The property is located approximately 20 mins walk from Garachico itself which has many shops and cafe/restaurants. Although the bus stops right outside it is advisable to hire a car. The property itself is large with a large bedroom, kitchen and sitting room but is in need of some renovation. Cracked tiles, cracked plaster etc... but none of this affected our stay here. There is a set of stairs leading up to a roof terrace but this has been blocked off for some reason. There is an omission from the description, whilst the property itself is yours during the stay, it is one of two joined properties which means the area shown with the sunbeds in the pictures is shared with the other property. Also, where the pictures show the outside dining area, this is the walkway for the other property to reach the parking area. As you are outside eating you may be passed by the other occupants on their way in or out. We were lucky as the other property was only booked for the first week and remained vacant for the remaining two weeks which meant we had the communal areas to ourselves. The parking area itself is very large and has a locked gate although it seems there are other people who come and go at random times. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend this property.

Our Garachico Finca

Splendid Canarian home, well presented and had all that we needed. A car is essential.but close to Garachico, and a preferred side of the island if you prefer a quieter time. Plenty of places to visit nearby. Buenavista Golf Club. Nice walk around the outside. Drago tree at Icod. and Puerto De La Cruz 30 min drive away. Also the busy side of the island is only between 45 mins and an hours drive away.

Rust&ruimte

Huis ligt heerlijk rustig en veilig ( door de afsluitbare poort) ondanks doorgaande weg; mooie tuin en uitzicht op de zee! De ruimte en netheid in huis zijn fijn; de sfeer is prettig, bedden prima, de keuken heeft voldoende spullen om bv een eenvoudige maaltijd te maken/gebruiken. Fijn is dat er een keer bed verschoond werd en handdoeken vervangen werden; dat dit al na 3 of 4 dagen gebeurde, vonden we wat snel ( halverwege 10 dg zou meer passend zijn). Omgeving is prettig en de nabijheid van winkels positief;op loopafstand een supermarkt, én tevens 3 eetgelegenheden, prima! Er zijn wel een paar verbeterpunten: Een betere zithoek in de woonkamer, waar sfeerverlichting ontbreekt, waardoor het er ongezellig aandoet. Van de aanwezige lampjes kon er slechts één in een stopcontact. De huiskamer voelt ook wat leeg. Idee om er kast neer te zetten naast één burootje?! Daar de grootste TV in de slaapkamer stond, hebben wij daar het meest gezeten. In de keuken hebben wij( niet de eersten die dat meldden) een waterkoker gemist; ook gemeld bij de eigenaar die beloofde hier iets aan te doen. Daar de eettafel daar staat, zou ook hier iets aan sfeerverlichting gedaan kunnen worden( wij gebruikten een bedlampje op de eettafel hiervoor). Over all: prettig huis met veel groen waar we graag zouden terugkeren; de communicatie met de eigenaar was prima!

Toller Blick aufs Meer

Wir haben uns in der Finca sehr wohl gefühlt. Toller Ausgangspunkt für die Erkundigung des Nordens der Insel. Bademöglichkeit in Garachico (1km entfernt). Das Restaurant nebenan ist absolut empfehlenswert.

Erholsame Tage in toller Umgebung
