Cute Condo Walking distance to Beach

This is a cute 2 bedroom condo with a beautiful view of the beach from the balcony. Direct access to the beach and a community pool are a huge benefit. Larry was responsive with all our questions. Highly recommend staying at this condo!

Nice but tight

The location and view of the gulf from this unit were fantastic. Accessibility was also very good because of the elevator. The only downside was the very small size of the bathrooms made entry/exit from the showers difficult. Very nice property. Communication with management was very good in all phases.

Good Location

Good location on the property. We had a nice view of the ocean and ate every meal on the balcony. Comfy couch to relax in the evening after sunning all day. Nicely decorated throughout and just a good change of scenery for us. Overall, the entire condo complex was a joy.

Great condo

Condo was very nice and clean. It has a nice view of the beach. We loved how easy it was to access the beach and how we didn't have to cross a busy street to get to it. The kids loved the pool.

Absolutely Perfect!

I can’t say enough positive things about our stay and the property! Clean, accommodating with a beautiful view! The only downside was I had planned on being able to do laundry but the Rental Office didn’t have quarters to make change and we chose not to visit a store to get any. Otherwise, perfect stay!

Great location and beautiful view

We stayed with 3 of children teens and 21. The location was great with ability to get to various venues in minutes but without staying in the midst of the hustle and bustle. Property was secure and others at the condo were courteous. We chose this property for immediate access to the beach without having to cross the highway-it was very convenient. We would stay here again.

Labor Day Weekend

Amazing property in a perfect location with a great pool and access to a semi-private stretch of beach. The condo was perfect with a great view and fully stocked with utensils, coffee, etc. Larry the property manager was more than accommodating, professional and communicative. We plan to book this property again

Great Place

Overall this place is a great place to stay. The pool and access to the beach was wonderful. Condo is smaller than appeared in pictures. King, and twin bed mattress were harder than preferred, so bring a pad if soft mattress are needed. Facility had plenty of towels. No trash bags, so bring some. Overall great place, easy parking, and wonderful security! I would stay again with a max of 4 adults.

Amazing beach trip!

Our recent trip to Galveston could not have been any better! The condo is fabulous, the kitchen and bathrooms are well appointed with all essentials and then some, master bedroom has a great view as well as the living room, king bed in the master, queen bed in the guest bedroom, and built-in bunkbeds with lighting in the hallway. We enjoyed playing games each evening at the built-in dining area. We spent every day at the beach via the private walkway from the property to the beach. There are chairs, beach, umbrellas, and porta crib and kids plates, bowls, and utensils, We enjoyed the pool, hot tub and even visited nearby Moody Gardens one day. The communication was amazing and timely! Our whole trip was an amazing getaway for our family! We will definitely be back!

Family fun

The property is easy, accessible to Galveston and right on the beach. It has all the amenities of a nice home. The only issue was there was a lack of paper goods. Limited, toilet paper and paper towel. We provided our own. Other than that we hope to book again next year!

Mini vacation

The location of this property to the beach and gulf was amazing. The only issue we had was with the A/C unit. It kept having issues and it was very stuffy in the condo making it very uncomfortable to rest. The owner was trying to help remotely with the unit and the thermostat.

Disappointing

The condo facilities are excellent. However, this particular unit was disappointing. We could not use the master closet because of a strong odor of vomit coming from a baby crib stored there. The steel leg on one of the balcony chairs was dangerous to use due to a large gap from extreme rust. The blinds were stiff, making them almost impossible to open and close. Some of the valances were missing from them as well. We've previously stayed in another unit at the same property. It was far superior to this one. We had a great time using the beach, pool, and hot tub. But the price paid was way too high for the quality of this particular rental unit.

Great but small

We really liked our stay! The property owner had great communication and was very prompt with his responses. The location is fabulous, especially if you are like us and have young children. We didn't have to cross a street to get to the beach and we were very close to the condo if the kids had to use the bathroom or needed something. It is about a 15 min drive from the main pleasure peer, but we prefer that. The part of the beach the condo is located on is clean and relatively private since only condo residents are really there. Access to netflix and disney+ was great! The only cons really had to do with our 4-person family. It was pretty small to accommodate us even though there were enough beds. The only comfy place to hang out in the living room was the single couch and that was tough for us. It would have been nice if the bedrooms would have had TVs so that we could put the kids in there with cartoons in the morning to spread out a bit more. If you have young kids you are going to put in the bottom bunk, I would suggest bringing one of those rails that slide under the mattress you get at walmart. Our 3 year old almost fell off several times! However, if there are fewer of you, this place is really terrific!

Disappointed - But Situation was Handled

I was originally disappointed that our check in time was not until 5:00. We had been down in Galveston since the previous Saturday, and had to figure out how to fill the day before we could check in. I feel like a normal check in time is around 3:00. I got notified at 4:40 PM (20 minutes before check in) that the unit was not cleaned. We continued to try to kill time with our 2 year old (who had not had a nap that day since we didn't have anywhere to go for nap time). An hour later, we decided to drive to the property and wait. I wasn't sure if I should tell the guard that we were spending the night because the welcome message we received made it sound like we were not supposed to let them know this was a VRBO site, and I was not sure if they could have over night guests. Therefore, we did not originally get an overnight pass. Finally, I called the host and asked if we needed to find another home because it was getting close to 7:00 and my 2 year was losing it. David was very nice about offering to fully refund our stay - but we ended up cutting our vacation short and driving back to Dallas that evening. I was disappointed that our family vacation ended in that way, but David did acknowledge that it was an unfortunate situation and did handle it very well. Since check in was so late, I feel like communication about the cleaning could have happened before 4:40 PM. I would have also preferred not having to feel like I shouldn't be on the property. It is a beautiful location, but I felt like I was going to "get caught" by being there.

Nice with updates, but not two bathrooms!

**Pros:** The room was clean and well-designed with updated appliances. This is one of the few condos that includes a kitchen table. The two balconies add a special touch with beautiful views of both the beach and pool. The master bedroom is larger than those in most units. The manager is very communicative and easy to reach.**Cons:** The second bathroom is extremely small, difficult to enter, and uncomfortable. An average adult will find themselves sitting with their knees pressed against their chest. The sink is only about 8x5 inches, so when washing your face, brushing teeth, or shaving, water splashes everywhere. The space feels very claustrophobic. I had a boot on my foot, which made entering the second bathroom impossible.Also, there is no TV in any bedrooms.I would recommend this unit to adults with children - children, I do not think, will find the 2nd bathroom small.

Nice alone time!

This was my second time in the unit. My daughter and I came last year, but this year I came solo and enjoyed some well-deserved me time! The condo is comfortable with a great view of the beach. I will likely return in the future.

Week Long Beach vacation

Condo was great! Very clean and cool when we arrived. Kitchen was stocked well enough with cooking utensils. Did not have basic seasonings like salt and pepper so bring your own. Bathrooms are tiny so be prepared to squeeze between the door, shower door and sink. It was nice to have a real table that fit all 5 of us unlike other condos that only have seating at the counter. We would definitely rent this condo again.
