「Great location, bar and restaurant staff were friendly, bar and restaurant area was decorated fabulously for Halloween. The room unfortunately had a lingering smell from what I believe were the drains in the bathroom. Check in was not particularly warm or welcoming. Room decor feels out of place with the history of the building.」

「I had liver and onions for evening meal. It was over cooked as the liver was crumbling as I ate it. The bed was uncomfortable ..mattress was cheap and the bed wobbled every time you moved keeping my wife awake as I moved in the night. Sue, manager was brilliant , very attentive and polite.」

「Staff were friendly who we saw. Very limited parking even street parking is limited due to permits needed. No breakfast even though it stated breakfast. Rooms could do with an update. Bar area is nice to have a drink and can imagine in the summer would be a great place 」

「Good location, clean place.」
