Love the resort but not impressed with unit
"Very nice but I’d prefer to stay in the older units at the Welk. These units are on top of each other and it is a bit loud at night. We love the resort though.. great pools and activities. I’ve been staying at the Welk for over 30 years."

Fun little getaway. Room was overpriced for what was given - uncomfortable bed, and, even on a non-smoking floor everything smelled like smoke. Also seemed like they had thin walls, as it was very loud.

Concert venue was ok. Very good sound. Would only go there for a concert and stay in a non-smoking room. Pool area was nice, but super crowded on a Saturday.

The room was $465, came with a ton of body hair, and the rooms looked overly used. Carpet was stretched out exposing portions of the subfloor below.
