Mercure Tokyu Stay Hiroshima

10/10 Excellent

"Great hotel. Great location. It was very walkable to shopping and the Peace Memorial. They provided little nuts and snacks. The breakfast was good not great. The staff were ok not great. We stayed a night, checked out. and had staff hold our bags while we toured. When we came back to collect our bags so we could catch the train to the next town. We were not treated like we had not been paying guests who were completing their stay. In fact, a comment was made “oh that’s for paying guests”. Not good. I would think twice about staying here again."

"This is a beautiful hotel and service and food at the restaurant on the first floor is fantastic. The reception is on the top floor which is inconvenient when you need help with directions or a recommendation and are about to leave. The bathroom had no storage at all and the room had a table and chairs which was cute but since the room is narrow you had to squeeze by. Decor is beautiful. If doing laundry, choose the longer setting because mine did not dry even thought there were just a few pieces."
