「We loved the historic feeling of the Montague. There are many haunting stories that surround this property making it even more magical. We stayed in the Acker Suite, it has an awesome jacuzzi tub and the bed was so comfortable. Some of the furniture could have been updated and some minor repairs like paint would push this to a five star facility. The grounds around the hotel are beautiful and back up to the river. 「They made everything simple. Easy to find. Close to everything on our list to do. Hostess, Lilac was a joy and fixed us a very nice breakfast. Beds were comfortable. Only complaint was that we didn't take time to enjoy the hot tub. Of course that isn't their fault :) 」

「We enjoyed staying there, it was so quiet and relaxing using the hot tub after a long day of walking the shops. Lilac was a good host and made us good breakfast. The house was just like the posting said, it was cozy and comfortable in a beautiful neighborhood!」

「I made a mistake on date of check-in. Luckily, no other guests had scheduled the day we arrived. Lilac hastened to "ready" the rooms and allowed us to stay a day earlier than scheduled. The home was clean. Lilac was very friendly and made sure that we felt right at home. We felt badly about our mistake, but she assured us that everything was fine. Breakfast was great the next morning.」
