Disappointed
Unfortunately, due to not one, but TWO deaths in my immediate family, we were unable to visit this property. I contacted customer service for both VRBO and Vacasa because the property was managed by both companies. They were both entirely useless in accommodating any type of resolution. There was no credit offered, no refund of the cleaning fee, etc. Even airlines make exceptions with a death certificate. I am extremely disappointed and dissatisfied with the lack of compassion shown by the property managers of this rental. I would understand with such a high end property that there would be a fee to cover daily costs but to keep the entirety of our payment is greedy beyond belief. I will not be recommending this property for future rentals nor would I recommend VRBO for the lack of options for similar situations.
