「We ate breakfast every morning on the back deck with our dog, Magnus. Trails galore to walk him on. The ones with rushing water beside them were so calming. After our walks, the hanging chairs on the front porch were a dream to hang out in with a cool drink and my Nintendo Switch. 「The property was beautiful and on good days we could even see the mountains in the background. The antiques in the property were lovely and the house was very clean and spacious. We enjoyed the town of Rutherfordton even if it was small. The shops were fun and the food was good. Over all we had a great vacation in a wonderful location.」

「Sofa looked old, so unsure about how clean it actually was. Same concern about the rugs. The bathroom vanity is small. Very little room to place toothbrush and toothpaste, let alone makeup and hair accessories. Appeared to be black mold on bathroom wall, so no place to hang shower towels. Two lightbulbs out in the bedroom ceiling fan. Kitchen cabinetry was in disarray. TV way to small. Wall air conditioner does not cool into the bedroom. It only cools the open living/kitchen area. 「Amazing facility with adorable rooms and living room/dining room. The courtyard is a great place to relax or do yoga. Donna provided fantastic breakfast and conversation. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. She even packed breakfast sandwiches for our early morning departure the last day. We will be back. 」

「This was our first trip to 1927 Lake Lure Hotel but not the last I hope. Staff was excellent and so helpful. The room was very clean. The whole property is so pretty and the antiques are a very nice touch in the lobby as well as on every landing. The only thing I would add is to have restaurant open we would have rather to have eaten there. Hope to come back with my best friends for a girl trip soon. 」
