"Staff was awesome, in particular Christine. She went out of her way to be accommodating. I stayed last year and the hotel was nice. However, the new ownership has done an amazing job on the room renovations and taken the place to the next level. I spend about 2 weeks every month in different hotels and there are very few that stand out but this one does for the cleanliness, renovations, location, etc. When I find a good one it is hard to tell everyone how wonderful it is because I don't want the property to become too popular and then I would have to find another spot. The Three Seasons Restaurant next door is also fantastic; although, I always get the Perch Dinner (pan sauteed)."

"The Lake views superb and location beautiful! Hosts very communicative and answered our questions promptly. We enjoyed the cabin, especially the screened porch which was very spacious. "Cozy is a good word for this cottage. It is COZY - ROOMY with lots of comfortable chairs and beautiful wood furnishings. There are lots of windows, too. You can view the lake from four rooms - the living room, the front room and two bedrooms. My husband and I loved this rental. It is well equipped, with great furniture and quality pans and dishes. There are so many places to sit in great chairs. And there is a bonus - theater-style motion seating. After a long day outdoors you can relax, put your feet up and watch a movie. We had no issues and highly recommend this cottage. Communication with the owner is quick and check in and out was easy. The welcome binder is very helpful, filled with any information you may need. "Everything was clean and comfortable. The hot tub was great as well as the back deck and table/fire ring right next to the river. There’s a small trail next to the river for a short walk. Loved having a coffee maker there, just bring your own coffee to have before you get your daily adventures started. There’s also a super cute new coffee shop down the road called The Eddy. Check in/out instructions were super easy and laid out concisely."

"Loved our stay at Lillie’s! My husband and I came for a long weekend getaway and couldn’t have been happier with our stay. The hot tub was fabulous, the location is so peaceful, and the house is well stocked with kitchen utensils for cooking! We could get out for day trips to see some U.P. landmarks and only have to drive a couple hours round trip! Even on our day in, we had plenty to do! The WiFi worked great and we could cast our streaming apps easily to the TV!Hopefully we can visit again and see even more. Thanks for a wonderful stay!"
