"Great place to stay before the shuttle crossing. Warm welcome when we arrived and the breakfast to go is a really nice touch. One point to note, the bed we stayed in had a footboard so if you are tall the bed can be uncomfortable. When I asked if all beds were like this, after we stayed, I didn’t get a response."

"Such a peaceful place. The owners were delightful. The property is at the very top of a hill and the drive is very narrow with parking on both sides. A real skills test of your driving. But the stay is worth it. Breakfast by a panoramic window looking down on the city was great. Large split bathroom with spa type shower was the greatest luxury of the room. Would stay there again."

"My partner and I stayed for one night and it was one of the best stays Ive experienced in the UK. Beautiful grounds, wonderful room which was very clean. Lovely staff who were very welcoming and helpful. Breakfast was great. I cannot fault it, wonderful place to stay."
