「We made happy memories over a cold January weekend. We cooked together, sat around the fire, played games and dozed in comfortable beds with high quality linens. We enjoyed the view of the water and the twinkling lights on the property at night. The steam shower was divine. If you like cooking, bring good knives, a veggie peeler and good pans. Plenty of glassware and dishes and some cookware provided. 」

The house sits on a pond in a beautiful location with large windows and patio doors so you can enjoy the view from many of the rooms. There is a large screened in porch with various seating options. The property was clean but appeared that no one had been there is a long time so did not have that pristine "just cleaned" feel. Some pests (bugs) and the dishwasher was not emptied (still full from previous tenants). The daffodils were beginning to bloom and there is the sight and sound of a running stream behind the home. We loved that there are two different stairways to the second floor, which has two parts not connected to each other. Kitchen and small table and seating area are delightful to spend time in.
