「The main thing to be said about our stay at the poltimore is that the staff really couldnt do enough for you. So attentive and lovely. The room was clean, spacious and had a stunning view of the countryside. The water sometimes ran brown, but this is probably the only negative comment to be said. Food has always been very nice here. We happily stay here again. 」
「From the moment we arrived, to the moment we left, we had nothing but friendly attentive service from the staff at the pub.
We were fortunate to be upgraded from a room in the pub to one of the relatively new lodges. The lodge was immaculate on arrival and very comfortable and well equipped.
We had breakfast included and this was first class with locally sourced food included.

「What a find ! Gorgeous 16th Century Farmhouse B&B. Fantastic that the wonderful hosts Sharon & Paul are fully dog-friendly - as I was on a solo short break with our younger dog, we were both made welcome. Lovely clean, nicely decorated spacious room. Bonus of a fridge with water & a small glass bottle of proper milk ie not sachets etc, to go with the well stocked courtesy tray. Lots of little touches, like various "I've forgotten" items, wine glasses, glass tumblers & corkscrew ... even a hair...
「Decent accommodation in a beautiful village on Exmoor. The bed was comfortable and the full English breakfast very good as well. I had no problem parking just outside on the street. I liked the feeling of staying in a family-run hotel and they were all friendly and helpful. Would return!」
