「The property was clean and close to the beach. The host was really great, and responded to messages promptly. The apartment was located on the top floor, so it was tricky getting up the stairs with our luggage. Overall, we had a great experience and would book again.」

「We had a fantastic stay at this apartment. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful from the moment we arrived, making everything so easy for us. The room itself was bright, airy, and very comfortable, providing a perfect place to relax. We were especially impressed by the kitchen, which was fully equipped with everything we needed. To top it off, the cleanup crew did an amazing job cleaning the room daily, keeping everything spotless throughout our visit. Highly recommended!」

「Great location yet quiet as it is well back from the street i side a courtyard. Very nice cottages with kitchenette, loft, dining table and sitting area. The shared patio also has tables for sitting outside. As with much of Alfama be prepared for stairs to get up to the cottages.」

「We loved our little apartment within the castle walls! Wonderful communication and assistance from the hosts, very clean and well-supplied, and very comfortable. The location requires an uphill walk from the historic center, but a frequent bus is also available. We enjoyed escaping to the charming, small streets of the castle in the evenings and were surprised at how quiet it was. Highly recommend!」

「Very clean however we were not informed of an early Friday morning market held in the parking lot thus trapping us in until 1:20. Obviously Interfered with our plans.」

「The host was amazing with communication and clarity. Very warm and welcoming and thorough. The house next door is labelled with the year 1700. It seems this house is similarly historic, which is amazing to think about. It is fully renovated and has all the modern conveniences, a real gem of a place. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit. Bed was comfy. 」
