「We really enjoyed our stay. Our host did an outstanding job making us feel welcome, and the property was exactly as described in the listing. The location was perfect with a huge lawn right on the Chena River! We enjoyed relaxing on the deck, our kids enjoyed paddleboarding on the river, and our dog enjoyed exploring the spacious yard. The home itself has a unique, old time Alaska feel to it, and the beds were very comfortable. I enjoyed reading some of the articles hanging up about the history...

「Laura and Martin have a wonderful get-away. Breakfast, coffee, water and snacks await you upon arrival. The house is clean and the decor provides real Alaskan vibe. I stayed mid-July and the deck and flowers were peaceful and inviting. As hosts,, they are friendly and attentive. I would recommend anyone to their lovely Gilmore house. 」

Communication was excellent.The host provided snacks, gourmet coffee, and chilled water for our use. These thoughtful touches made the stay especially nice.」

「This cabin was exactly as desribed! A little rustic, but had all the basics we needed. It was easy to find and access and it was out of fairbanks a little bit for a little extra quiet. We enjoyed our stay - and if you're looking for a no frills place to stay, you would enjoy it too!」

「Very comfortable. Everything was clean and easy. The walls are a touch thin, so I could hear snoring in the other room, but that is nitpicking. Comfy couches, well stocked kitchen and laundry room, comfy beds. 」

「The house is setup nicely. The pool table adds a relaxing activity at the end of the day. It is kept up nicely and is very clean. The home owner gave helpful suggestions and always responded promptly. I would recommend this property.」

"I had a wonderful stay at this hotel! They provided a shuttle bus to the airport, and when I was returning, they arranged a taxi for me. The room was spacious and comfortable. I requested a microwave, refrigerator, and hairdryer in advance, and they were kind enough to provide them. The breakfast was delicious with a variety of options, including boiled eggs, cheese, bagels, and coffee. The staff were all very friendly and helpful! One thing to note is that the hotel is conveniently located right outside, which would be great if you're arriving by car. Highly recommend!"
