「Great location if you are spending a couple of days in the Kingston area. Charming house and decor. I loved that they deliver warm coffee and muffins in the morning. The room was decorated nicely and they even provided a record player with records.」
「Very unique property centrally located to explore the Catskills area. Kingston is a nice little town with a lot of great restaurants. You can hike in the adjacent state park along the Hudson from the property or hike in the Catskills 30 minutes out. Quiet relaxing property. 」
「An okay place to stay for a night. The room was comfortable but definitely looked like it had received minimal upkeep over the years. The shower water smelled a bit sulfuric and wouldn’t stay warm/hot. It was fine just for one night but I wouldn’t recommend staying longer since the amenities were a bit lacking, which is not too surprising given it is a small motel in the mountains. One plus is the property manager was very kind and welcoming. 」
「I was on a motorcycle trip ... I got there mid morning ... hours ahead of check in time. I was saturated from traveling on motorcycle through mountain areas in a very heavy storm. The manager moved me to a different room to let me go in early and get out of the rain, which was very much appreciated.」
「We loved the history of the hotel as well as the charm. It is very convenient to all the shops and restaurants. Our room was large and comfortable. It even had a fireplace to make it cozier.
It could use a little updating, but overall, a wonderful stay.」
「My husband and I stayed for two nights over Labor Day weekend. The room and hotel were fantastic, well maintained and very clean. We will definitely stay again. My only small piece of feedback is to add blackout curtains to the rooms. I am not sure if it was just our room (9) that did not have them, but it got a lot of sun.」
