「This is a perfect little place to spend some time with what can only be described as one of the best views in the country. Watching the river wake up each morning and the twinkling of Dartmouth at night with a sound track of tawny owls and the toot of a steam train, this is a holiday for the senses. 「I made the booking via Hotel.com and 5 hours after I paid I had an email that I had to pay a £50 mandatory fee for facilities passes at the park. I questioned this as nothing was stated via booking and the price stated was the final price I paid. I had emails from a 3rd party called travelnest and also getting emails from someone asking for £50. The whole booking was a mess. Eventually I spoke to the host and he kept saying its written in the description of this extra charge when I never saw it,...

「dirty utensils,cups,eating bowls, freezer leaking water and mildew growing inside. dirty sheet with dirt on and stains. both bed had springs coming through, one bed had a large dip in the middle, damp place, radiator controls had been taken off so it could not be adjusted. car parking was dangerous not wide enough to get in and out bust road, even though we asked hostes if the parking was wide enough for our car, they said it was. the stairs did not have a banister to go safely up and down...

「This property is need of a lot of repair. Leaks through the ceiling, peeling paint, the water tank is a real issue - you may run out of drinking water! Marks and holes in walls through the property. It is not a virtual check in you have to go collect the keys. We lost two hours trying to get hold of virtual check in. Microwave sounds like it’s going to explode and dishwasher doesn’t work. Really terrible stay. The only plus is there’s a lovely view」
