Staff courteous nice friendly check in, room very clean nice large bed very comfy, bit of noise from pub next door but completely expected this didn’t affect our sleeping and the noise stopped around 2 am, nice breakfast this morning so overall good night

If you are over 5ft be prepared to get concussion ! I was in a room up stairs and had to walk around with my head down low beams a hazard (plenty of warning signs) but you easily forgotten at your peril
Should be renamed the rose and smashed crown ;)

Room no. 15 clean and warm. Spacious. Could have benefited from a second chair, complimentary water and biscuits with the tea tray but these are minor points. Staff very busy but courteous. Overall a pleasant stay. Would happily re visit.
