There's even a swimming area nearby where adventurous pups can splash and play—making it a true holiday for every member of the family. Many local spots offer pet-friendly patios with water bowls and a warm welcome. Please note that on Sunday, January 11, 2026, Egmond aan Zee will be closed to car traffic due to the marathon weekend. Additionally, the hotel restaurant will be closed on Friday, November 28, and Saturday, November 29, for the Fjoertoer Egmond event. During these evenings, a food truck will be available on the property. The park is accessible by car until 5:00 PM on these days, after which no car traffic is permitted.
