「The hardest part was finding the place then getting in the door. Security Is obviously highly prioritised. The apartment was lovely, well stocked with everything you need to stay. Very clean and in good working order. Great balcony overlooking the surrounds and the lights at night were great」

「We stayed at a one bedroom apartment facing east. This unit was on the 23rd floor and though it was high from the ground the noise of the city was loud. For a moment I felt I was in New York as the near by Atahualpa Stadium was testing the sound for a local concert. The other thing I noticed was that it gets hot in the morning if you don’t lower the window treatments. And one minus was that there is no dryer in the unit. 「The apartment is exactly as pictured and described. The wifi worked well and the bedrooms had smart tvs so i was able to watch Netflix. Well stocked kitchen, warm shower and lots of security cameras. Heavy locked gates for added security. Beautiful terrace to look at the city. A couple things you should be aware of, 3rd floor no elevator but easy stairs and the shower floor is extremely slippery. Traffic noise in the morning but nothing crazy loud in my opinion. 「The neighborhood itself was a little rough and walking around required heighten awareness. The property was very secure. There were four doors and four keys to get it to the apartment. Three of them were iron security doors. Orlando was very accommodating and friendly and the little watch dog, I called Scooter, was a treat. He welcome me with cheerful tail wags and calf nudges every time I returned to the apartment.」

「Very convenient to historic Cuenca via tranvia (inexpensive electric cable car) and only a 2 block walk to a very good. large grocery store where there are also a few casual eating, pharmacy, clothing, etc shops. A walk into town is only 15-20 minutes for a good walker.2 large bedrooms, kitchen, dining and desk/internet area. LOVE the full-size washer & dryer just off the kitchen and all kitchen appliances work. Plenty of warm covers on each bed, necessary because like many Cuenca homes, there...
