"The staff and the accommodation itself was lovely. I got to the hotel early and paid about $7 dollar U.S. to get a room early. They have free ramen offered for an hour at night. The bath/hot spring was just what I needed. The staff was helpful and respectful. Would absolutely stay here again. Struggled with putting on the A/c and a staff member cleaning another room came to save the day!"

There are a number of options for food and entertainment around the station, and this is a great hotel to stay at if you’re planning to go to the Fukui Prefectural Dinosaur Museum. "The room was fairly large for Japan, and comfortable, I was on the top floor, non smoking comfort floor. And the breakfast was good. Staff was super. My only complaint is that because some floors were smoking, sometimes the lobby area smelled enough like cigarettes to give me a headache. Location is good for new Shinkansen station. Sidewalks ok."
