「This is one of the nicest places I’ve ever had the pleasure to stay in. I have traveled a lot and have suffered a lot of disappointment. As far as accommodations. However, this place was superb beautiful room, hot tub, personally prepared breakfast sitting outside and covered patio area beautiful trees. I definitely will come here again.!」

「This was the perfect spot for us to stay with friends to go boating at Lake Livingston. Spacious and very clean bedrooms, kitchen and bathroom with lots of appliances, and extra treats and snacks from the hosts. Plenty of room to pull the boat in. Very communicative and kind hosts. We will stay here again!」

「Beautiful and historic house from pre civil war and the electricity, plumbing, etc. work great. Very comfortable and great feel of the history of the period with the furniture, curtains and all appointments. Very modern and clean kitchen and bathrooms. Really enjoyed the visit.」

「The room was absolutely huge and wonderful. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The grounds are beautiful with a nice pool and a small pond that attracted a Blue Heron. We really enjoyed our short stay and would definitely recommend this BnB for getaways, or weddings, or special occaisions. It was close to the Texas Renn Faire which was why we chose it. Thank you for a lovely stay!」

「I loved it and will definitely be back! The staff was friendly and the restaurant food was delicious. The only criticism I have was the bed was very firm and not as comfortable as I would have liked and there was also horse manure on some of the walking paths but otherwise not a big deal as the property was beautiful」

「Charming B&B, we were met by Scott the manager as we effortlessly checked in. Room was very comfortable and clean. We will come back again!」

「Beautiful and well kept historic home! The owner and chef were extremely courteous and welcoming...we couldn’t have felt more welcome! The room and common areas were clean and the bed and pillows were extremely comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and I only regret that we couldn’t finish the generous portions. Would definitely reccomend!」
