"Either housekeeping doesn't clean"

"The room was clean. But the shower knob was already broken, the bathtub floor had a massive air pocket. The night staff was passed out in lobby when I was checking out had to call the phone. Took the woman 5 minutes to get up lousy service. The room was very clean, but the walls paper thin."

They are like the old school 70’s cover blankets that matched the curtains. And the second blanket also had a musty smell. So we had to remove both to sleep in the beds with just a top sheet. Thank god weather has changed and it wasn’t cold so we could sleep Comfortably. They need to keep up with their bedding and new towels to match the hotel upgrades. Hope it’s just because it’s the beginning of the season and this all gets corrected before people start paying top dollar to stay here. "

"Ants in kitchen and bedroom. Battery from smoke detector went off at 2am, waking up pregnant wife first night. High in ceiling had to wait to remove battery and change. Ac/heat would just randomly turn off, even using override settings. Otherwise, cottage was awesome"
