Ojibwa Cottage, lovingly known by the family who owns it as Sojstuga ("The Sea Cottage"), is located in East Boothbay at the mouth of the Damariscotta River.  This oceanside cottage is off the beaten trail offering privacy, but still close to Boothbay Harbor and Ocean Point. From the cottage, you can access walks on Land Trust trails. There is also a community dock owned by the association that guests can use. The cottage sits up on a knoll so views here are fabulous and according to the owner, especially the sunrise view.

THE HOUSE: Newer shingled cape style cottage with open floor plan, hardwood floors throughout, radiant heat and wrap-around deck.  Overall, the cottage has a very neat, clean and airy feel.

Main Level: Offers open concept living, dining, and kitchen area.  There is also a study with a full size futon for extra sleeping area if needed and a 3/4 bathroom with shower.
2nd Floor:  The second floor has three bedrooms. The master bedroom has a Queen Bed with sliding doors that open to a small balcony with views of the ocean. The second bedroom has a Twin Bed. The third bedroom has a full bed and has ocean views. There is also a full bathroom on this floor with shower and jetted tub.

Outside the main level is a deck that wraps around.  There is plenty of room here with a picnic table, patio furniture and a grill. Guests can also use the Little River Community dock a short distance away for your access and boating use. This protected area is a great place for kayaking.

* Please note: there is water access at this property, the path is steep and may not be suitable for everyone.
