「Since 2023, we’ve been coming back to Kernville annually. Whispering Pines Lodge is the only place we considered staying at. We’ve travelled to many places, stayed at various hotels/inns/cottages but never stayed in the same place 2x except at Whispering Pines Lodge. It’s like home away from home, a sanctuary when we want to decompress and just relax. 」
「This is an older motel property but has been maintained well. It is like a small step back in time. It's not new and fancy, but cozy and charming. Right next to the park and the river and across the street from downtown businesses. 」
「We opted for a nicer king-bed room, and it was so worth it. We were right by the river with a lovely deck where we could sit and enjoy our morning coffee. Clean and comfortable room -- it was great. 」
「This property is absolutely beautiful. The river runs just below the area and the sound of the water is so nice and calming. They have coffee for the mornings which i truly appreciated! 2 seperate buildings for bathrooms and a separate space with showers (partially outside, rock floors and open roof! Also access to the river with steps made of large rocks. Everyone was helpful and friendly. 」
