「Situated in a lovely area of the Sussex Downs this small country pub provided ideal accommodation for our visit to Glyndbourne. Clean, simple but well appointed accommodation, with a good breakfast provided in the morning. Long Man Best Ale in cask available at the bar, which was a treat.」

「歴史的な建物を利用したとても素敵なホテルでした。バスタブが室内にあり、シャワールームもありました。併設のパブには犬連れの人が多くいましたが、皆とてもフレンドリーで静かに美味しいビールを楽しめました。 すぐ近くにはお城の遺跡やビールの醸造所があります。 次の仕事のためにタクシーを手配してくれて助かりました。 小さなホテルの良さがギュッと詰まっています。またぜひ行きたくなるホテルでした。日本人にはイギリスのカントリーサイドを楽しむためにぜひ訪れてほしいです。 駅に近く、スーツケースを持っていても歩いていけます。」

The hotel is old style so there was no lift which was quite difficult for tourists like us carrying a large suitcases, but the staff had kindly supported us. No air conditioner in the room」

Dirty walls, dirty shower and bathroom, toe nail clippings on bedroom floor. Towels on every bed but 2 with stains. Floors uneven and creak. No chain on door. 「I was supposed to get book in details by WhatsApp before 3pm Friday they didn't come. Eventually someone appeared at 3.15 in the lobby if you could call it that. A window in the inside front door had been broken and was never replaced. Got to the room it was supposed to be a double. Fair enough it had double bed and just enough room to walk around it. The bathroom stunk on stale water. Would I stay here again? NO 」

「The staff were amazing from the front desk Darcy and mum to the night porter, who could not do enough for us brilliant. Would recommend to all ages and jealous that we’re not still there. 「We stayed in three. The room was big, but it was including waste space where no one stays there. If sofa bed was opened, no space to walk or open your luggage. The room was not in basement, but ground floor rooms have less top window which you feel as it is in basement. I would feel horrible if the days were really hot. No air conditioners.
