「Suzanne & Clara are doing an outstanding job running the show, the hotel is in the process of changing ownership so there is no bar or restaurant at the moment. Breakfast is awesome though & they provide a list of various takeaways in the area for delivery , you can bring in your own drink . Would heartily recommend here as it's a proper old fashioned traditional hotel, which bye the way was used by the Monty python team when filming The Holy Grail movie and was also the inspiration for Fawlty...

「We found the cottage to be cozy and centrally located. Ok, so the stairs creaked ever time you went up or down but it’s a little old cottage so that just added to the atmosphere. Having 2 bathrooms was a bonus as was the dishwasher in the kitchen. In fact the cottage had everything we needed for our 5 night stay. And with M&S and tescos in nearby Dunblane shopping was easy. Doune itself has so many interesting places nearby that we easily filled in our days. We would stay in the cottage again...
