From July to September, guests can enjoy the outdoor heated pool—a peaceful oasis after a day of exploring the stunning North Downs. A Storied Stay with Historic Roots Step into a place where history meets elegance. This distinguished hotel has welcomed iconic guests such as Lord Nelson, Lady Hamilton, and poet John Keats. Wander nearby National Trust trails or the River Mole, and you’ll understand why. Dine indoors at the elegant Emlyn Restaurant or unwind with drinks at the Hotel Bar or on the patio—wherever you choose, quality is guaranteed. Comfort, Cuisine & Celebrations Guests benefit from onsite private parking, a quiet riverside setting, and modern amenities. The hotel is also a prime venue for meetings, weddings, and private events, accommodating up to 180 guests. Emlyn’s Restaurant offers seasonal, locally sourced British dishes to complete your stay.

The deposit amount is tailored to the duration of your stay, seasonal considerations, and the size of your party. We maintain a smoke-free environment within the property. Should this policy be disregarded, additional charges will be incurred. We embrace the spirit of community and shared experiences; however, our property must be enjoyed with respect and consideration for others. We strictly prohibit parties or disruptive behaviour. To maintain this standard, we've installed noise and heat sensors to detect any unauthorized gatherings or additional guests. Should these alarms be triggered, our security team will intervene, and it may impact your security deposit. To ensure everyone's comfort, we observe a quiet time policy from 22:00 to 6:00 , allowing all guests to enjoy a restful environment.

Room was very cold ( plastic curtains over large patio door ) water was lukewarm, toilet cistern ran all night . Only 4 UHT milk and one earl grey tea bag !!Charged for parking in The Burford Car Park Area to right of room block on grass was covered in dogs mess !!Shocking place
