Find hotels in Dongdaemun-gu, Seoul

"A couple of concerns with this place, beds are not comfortable , they are as hard as sleeping on a wood board, second big concern, at 9 pm, hotel reception was empty for from what I know , at least 45 minutes, where anyone of the street could just come up to the rooms, people’s luggage’s were left at the reception , all unattended and free for all to grab, this was extremely troubling. I had to change rooms, first room had great water pressure in the shower, when I was moved to the 8th floor, shower was a nightmare, there is absolutely no water pressure, for these reasons, I would not return to this hotel for sure ."

"Laundry is cheap but it’s in the basement of the hotel and a bit awful smelling. The elevator is a tight fit. 7/11 downstairs is super convenient."

"Our private Booked room was given to other people. After waiting 45 minutes Then we were sent to a new hostel with same owners (its almost 1 am now) to then be given a room with dirty bedding covered in pubes a mysterious brown stain and cockroaches in the corner. Not to mention the no WiFi and smoking smells…. "

"Ok stay. Hotel a little dated, it is located on a good bus route. 20 mins to the markets we wanted to visit. Really good affordable restaurants in the area. Would have liked to stay abit more central but then we wouldn't have eaten at local great places. Would have liked bigger towels and a kettle in the room. Also the bed sheets don't feel soft but comfortable mattress. Could improve in some areas but ok for prince in Korea. "

"Unfortunately, this hotel was way too small. We arrived one day later and were told we still had to pay that night. The rooms weee extremely small. The first room’s outlet was not in the wall. The shower was right in front of the toilet. No curtain was available. The sink leaked water and the door did not shut completely. The room was super small that it was not enough room for luggage’s for three people. The mattresses were hard and the blankets were warm but felt like plastic. They made a rustling noise like plastic bags. The next day, I asked if I would be charged for all five nights if I checked out that day. They said I would be charged for all nights at the regular rate I booked it for. I asked if a manager could consider at least charging only 50 % and the girl at the front desk kindly said they don’t do that. She was very courteous. I left that day and they charged my card the $407.11. One night was enough for me at this hotel. I checked into another hotel with way more space with well functioning sinks, a shower with a shower curtain and tub that I didn’t have to worry about the toilet paper getting wet while I showered. When my teen took a shower, the shower head would not stay in place and it ended up causing water to over flow into the bed areas. I was able to stop it with towels on the floor. I will never stay here again or recommend it to anyone."
