"I booked and arrived at the property very late after a long drive from Rome, ~8pm. "Our stay at Borgo Mandoleto was towards the end of a couple of week sin Italy. What a great way to wind up the trip! Donnatella and he husband are marvelous! Donnatella is a wonderful cook, I highly recommend eating with them at every opportunity. The property is just outside of the small village of Solomeo, near Perugia. It is quiet and relaxing. We made friends with Mema, the kitty in residence, and she was fine company as well. There is a beautiful pool, unfortunately it was too early...

"What a great hotel at a perfect location!! It’s close to Duomo, very easy to get from Orvieto train station by funicular and bus A to Duomo. I got a room at a separate building from the main building, so it was very quiet and the room is so spacious, clean and comfortable. There are so many shops, restaurants, cafes, gelateria around the hotel. Highly recommend it!!"
