This property has several issues and we were fairly uncomfortable throughout the stay. There is carpet in the bathroom, which is the most glaring issue. It's gross. As others have noted, there are several broken blinds. This causes an issue specifically in the bedroom as the window is at eye level with a heavily trafficed walkway. Also, there is no central air so the unit was fairly warm during our stay. We opened the window in the bedroom which helped but again, privacy was a real issue. We also opened the balcony door, but as the screen door is broken bugs off the lake were an issue for us. Much of the furniture is in need of updating as well. It was very uncomfortable materials and very worn out. Bring your own chairs to sit on, especially if you want to enjoy the balcony.
We also had issues with the property management company. This is a large company, not an individual. Many responses were automated and we needed help getting in the unit as the correct keys weren't in the lockbox. Also, checkin is late (4pm) and checkout is pretty early (10am) and they charge a fee for a late checkout. This seemed entirely unecessary to me, especially since no one was checking in after us. Overall, I found the company frustrating and got the impression they are trying to nickle and dime their way to a cheap rental property.
The only reason for 2 stars instead of 1 is the views are amazing. If you're looking for a cheap option to stay on lake Dillon, this may work. Just don't expect a comfortable (or private) stay.
