「We (3 of us) found the Carriage House suite to be very enjoyable and met our needs. Having two sleeping spaces and two bathrooms was a perfect situation for us. The bathrooms were clean and generally updated but the drainage in the main bathroom was quite loud. The main house and breakfast were lovely. 「I arrived and the room we were assigned was not up to par did not smell clean furniture was in very poor condition toilet was leaking. This hotel needs a whole renovation you are charging premium prices and your hotel does not meet the standards! Pictures are deceiving, They were able to accommodate us to another room that was in better shape. I did give hotel staff 5 stars for taking care of us. Hotel is not worth the money we paid unfortunately.」

「The back door didn’t lock and there was no shower curtain in the tub so water went everywhere. The bathroom was dirty and there was a roach in the room probably one of the worst hotels I’ve ever stayed at.」

「Highly recommend staying at the Dixie Motel! The owners have thought of everything from fantastic water pressure in the shower to freshly made tea and other snacks in the fridge. The room was very clean and homey.」

So I was out all the money and had to find a new place seeing we were going to round top for 4 days. We found a wonderful place and the host was amazing. We told her our pet was only 10 lbs and would never be left alone. 」

「Second stay this year at this lovely property for Round Top Antiques Fair…quiet, peaceful, lovely in Spring with Bluebonnets and Indian Paintbrush…main cafe in town open at 0700 for breakfast (wonderful scones/coffee) …once in town there are many shops/restaurants within walking distance… short drive in the other direction gets you to the friendly vendors at Y Station….easy communication with host, Ashley…camper clean, spacious for two of us and check-in snacks provided…plan to stay here...
