"I stay here for work every year because it's close to where I need to be. The staff are great but some things just don't change and the hardest thing about this location is the sound. If the person next to you happens to be loud or talk near the shared door, it's very disruptive, even with earplugs. Also the sound from the hallway is heard very loudly inside the room. In general I'm not sure why this hotels tends to have loud patrons but it has been an issue every year I visit."

"Rooms are not clean. Although it appears that they are attempting to upgrade the property, the effort seems clear however, the rooms are filthy. They need to put more attention to detail and actually clean the rooms. Staff is amazing. Check-in is amazing. Parking attendance are amazing overall the day was great room is just filthy. I would not read patronize the site until or unless their stars increased to four and above for cleanliness."

"Had a lovely 6 night stay at the Hyatt Regency Houston Galleria. The hotel was as expected for a Hyatt. The room was clean and comfortable. The hotel bar was quite nice and had a lively, although not overly crowded, vibe. Enjoyed a late dinner at the bar one evening and cocktails with colleagues another. The Market for grab and go and quick bites was also great although it could be staffed better especially during the morning rush hours. Great chocolate croissants and lattes for breakfast and I was able to grab a very good personal pizza to take up to my room one day I was at the hotel working. My only complaints: 1- the coffee maker in the room was very dirty and needed to be cleaned. 2- The iron was missing from my room and despite two requests I never did receive one. So I was a bit more wrinkled at meetings than I had hoped. 3- The valet only parking option was overpriced and not terribly convenient. Would have preferred a self parking option. I ended up parking in a neighboring lot."

"I got my bank account over drawn by 1034.00 dollars and it seems to not matter to the staff.i was on site calling from my room and they will not answer.went down to talk to them and was charged for advertised free breakfast.i was told I would get email from the hotel with confirmation my money would go back in my acct but until then I am racking up over draft fees!!there is a lack of communication between third party and the hotel.no hot water.."
